If you are planning a trip to the Cyclades this post will definitely be useful!
We spent two weeks island hopping in Greece for our honeymoon and I gathered below all my tips, addresses and recommendations for a memorable trip!
Mykonos
What to do?
Get lost in the little streets of Mykonos town and enjoy the golden hour in Mykonos Little Venice.
Horse ride along Mykonos reservoir and Fokos beach.
Rent a car for a road trip and go to Armenistis Lighthouse, Agios Sostis beach and end the day in Paradise beach for a cocktail or two!
Where to stay?
The Grace Hotel Mykonos, it is 10 minutes outside of Mykonos town and the place and staff are amazing.
Where to eat?
Sea Satin Market and Roca Cookery for amazing sunset views.
Grab lunch at Kiki’s Taverna for delicious authentic Greek food.
Paros
What to do?
Visit all the little shops of Naousa.
Sit on a terrace for a cafe frappe in Parikia.
Drive to the mountains of Paros and stop in Lefkes.
Where to stay?
We stayed at the Saint Andrea Seaside Resort. It was absolutely fine and the swimming pool area is very pleasant, but the rooms are nothing special.
Where to eat?
Enjoy a meal at Soso, one of the best restaurants in Paros. It is also amazing value for money!
Have dinner and a glass of wine with the best sunset views at Glafkos Taverna.
Santorini
What to do?
Hike to Oia from Imerovigli for the most beautiful views of the Caldera.
Climb Skaros Rock to see some traces of the ancient Santorini and find Ekklisia Theoskepasti church.
Visit Oia and Fira, of course!
Rent a quad and go on a road trip. Visit the ancient site of Akrotiri. Lie down on the red sand of the Red Beach and the yellow sand of Vlychada Beach. Climb to the heights of Santorini and explore Pyrgos.
If you like sailing go on a sunset cruise for first row views of the sunset on the Caldera.
Celebrate your stay in Santorini with a wine tasting at Santo Wines.
Where to stay?
The Grace Hotel Santorini, you won’t be disappointed! The rooms are cosy, the views breathtaking and it is the most Instagram and Pinterest friendly place you will ever stay at!
Where to eat?
I don’t have a ‘spectacular’ restaurant recommendation in Santorini, but no matter where you eat, make sure to try the 3 traditional dishes of the island.
Here you go, if you check all the items on this list, you are in for a real treat!

This brings back great memories for me, I love Greece! Paros is probably my favourite as it’s not too expensive and still authentic too.
