Aaaah autumn, its copper tinted landscapes, its golden leaves, its fresh air, its freezing rain, its grim fog… Note to self, hiking in Scotland at that time of the year may not be the most heartwarming experience. One of my hiking boots got literally stuck in the mud that day. That made for one very wet, muddy sock and one very grumpy me.
