Naousa – Paros, Greece

The second island we visited during our island hopping trip in Greece was Paros.

Naoussa Paros

This was our favourite island! Of course Mykonos and Santorini are beautiful and a lot of fun, but Paros is a true hidden gem. Less tourists, amazing sights, delicious food AND amazing value for money!

We stayed at the Saint Andrea Seaside Resort just outside Naousa, so our first afternoon there we headed in town to explore.

Naousa is literally sitting on the Mediterranean. Some of the streets and the main square actually end in the water.

The locals have made the most of their location and restaurants spread out in the streets so you have the best views of the sea and the fishermen unloading their catch of the day.

Get lost in the little streets and explore the boutiques.

Sit at a terrace and people watch while sipping on a café frappé or a glass of wine.

Paros is more relaxed than Mykonos and less busy than Santorini which was a blissful break from the touristy crowds.

I highly recommend enjoying the slow life in Paros for a few days if you happen to be island hopping in the Cyclades!
