Favourite Interior Design books - Claire Imaginarium

I would like to think that I am doing alright at redecorating my house, but I have to give full credits to all the books I read on the topic to educate myself. Patterns, colours, shapes, the balance of space- I wouldn’t be where I am today without hours of reading.

So below is the list of my favourite interior books. They all have a different purpose so I made sure to list them accordingly.

You don’t own a house but you still want to make your rented flat stylish? This book will give you tips and tricks to add personality without having to repaint the walls.

If you want to learn how interior designers work – Making a House Your Home by Clare Nolan

Clare covers everything there is to consider when decorating a house, from the colours to the seasons, from the ideal tablecloth to the temperature of a bedroom, from the lighting to the flower arrangements. This is the perfect book if you really want to get into the mind of an interior designer.

If you need help staging your place – Decorate by Holly Becker and Joanna Copestick

You have decided on the layout of your house and the style you want to go for, now you just need inspiration and guidance to stage your living room or bookshelves like a pro? This book is for you.

If you spend hours on Pinterest – Design Bloggers at Home, Ellie Tennant
